As a child, I was very shy and had only one friend. Whenever she was absent I'd sit with other girls who were mean to me. When I was in 12th standard, while giving a physics practical exam, I accidentally misplaced an instrument. But the teacher wrongly accused me of 'breaking' it. I was sitting for the test, it's a mandatory exam before sitting for the final 12th standard exam. As I was a below-average student it was easy to fail me. Everyone passed, except me. All hell broke loose for my mom who was already a psychiatric patient. I was numb with depression. I survived that phase with the love of my family.
