I've been shy since high school & have missed out on so many possibilities. I was stuck because I was afraid of never being good enough for anyone in my life. I observed my friends getting ahead in life because they knew what they wanted to accomplish, while I was ignorant. I felt as though my family and friends were forced to love me and that I wasn't worthy of their love. I felt pathetic but over the years, I've tried little by little to build up my confidence.
