For four years, I was in a physically abusive relationship. It was the worst phase, & I even attempted suicide only to get out of that situation. He controlled my life completely. Unfortunately, I was unable to do anything as I was lacking in confidence. He made my life a hell. But one day, I decided, that I needed to get out of this relationship & stand up for myself. So, I approached him & told him that I wanted to quit this relationship. He argued & threatened to attack me, but I was prepared & smacked him.
