I was the only person, I had for myself because I was an only kid & my parents had failed in all of their businesses. I felt very scared and alone throughout the scary situations at home, through the financial ups and downs, and through the emotional highs and lows of our home. I never shared any of this with my friends because I just wanted to be treated normally. I tried to live a second life, claiming that everything was fine with me. But it weighed heavily on me. So one day, I told my best friend everything that had ever happened to me.
