The toughest time of my life was in the year 2009 to 2011. I was not in touch with my family over a silly fight. It happened when I broke up with my boyfriend, it was a 4-year long relationship, approved by my parents as he was quite a gentleman & well-earned engineer. But things didn't go as I planned & I broke up & my parents got furious. Then being a stubborn brat, I stopped talking to them. I had a good job & great friends but being not in touch with my parents was killing me from inside. My ego and desperation to prove myself kept me away from them.
