Since I got a sense of right & wrong, I saw people saying "I love me" or "I live my life on my terms" but in reality, this wasn't the case at all. In fact, their life was being held either by their partners or the emotions they have in them, which was driven by the people they were surrounded by. And yes, I slowly started becoming like them. I met people who tried to change me and even those who tried to steal my identity. I tried a lot fighting the society and the people who always try to give you suggestions and force you to implement them, without even understanding what your life really is.
